Si buscas a un familiar

If you are looking for a relative

We know how hard the wait is. The Guardia Civil asks immediate family members to go to one of these offices as soon as possible to give a DNA sample, which speeds up identification.

This is the most useful help right now, and you can give it from anywhere. Hospitals in Toledo, Ciudad Real and Alcázar de San Juan need all blood types, Guadalajara is holding a donation marathon, and Madrid is short of 0+, 0−, A+, A− and B−.

Even if you live far away, your donation counts. Reserves are shared between regions and will be needed for weeks. Check your regional transfusion centre's opening times before you go.

If you were due to travel

Your recovery comes first. When you can, keep your ticket and medical reports: public transport passengers are covered by Spain's compulsory travel insurance (Seguro Obligatorio de Viajeros), and the operators have victim-assistance plans. Your operator and the Orgaz support centre will explain the next steps.

No tienes que pasarlo solo

You don't have to go through this alone

Hablarlo ayuda.

It is normal to sleep badly, feel anxious or be afraid of taking the train in the coming days, even if you only saw it on the news. Talking helps.
